LEX the Lexicon Artist makes high-energy rap music for the mind. Plagued with self-repression, neurotic ambition, and delusions of grandeur, Taiwanese-American rapper, writer, and creator Alex Sun Liu created LEX in 2016 to shield polite society from her most socially unacceptable attributes, by bringing them onstage instead. With a comically narcissistic persona and a domineering stage presence, LEX delivers surgically precise rapid-fire rap lyrics about nerd culture, personal identity, and the depths of the human mind. Super Smack

Super Smack is on a mission to bring world peace through geeky hip-hop music. Fusing boom-bap, chiptune, trap, and jazz, Smack has earned the title “The Nintendo Switch of Rappers” for his vibrant style and knack for joy. He lives in New York City and is from Los Angeles, so both coasts are in his DNA. Smack has performed at SXSW Nerdcore Dayz, Brooklyn Comic-Con, and Off-Broadway. He’s an alum of Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal’s BARS WORKSHOP and also performs with the irreverent freestyle team NORTH COAST. His videogame-inspired album NEON RED is being released in Fall 2019.

Minusworld

Formed in 2005, Synthrock band MINUSWORLD loves big, high-energy synth/guitar riffs matched with driving dance and rock rhythms. Fronted by Melissa Carubia on vocals and keytar, with Michael Hawver on guitar, John Fraley on bass and Dave Green on drums, we play tracks that emphasize fun and nerd-nostalgia. Our audiences delight as they unlock "Mini-Songs" throughout our shows--short covers of famous video game, television, and movie themes. Our newest EP entitled DANCING IN THE ASHES, available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon Music (et al.), features all of this in the title track: a song about surviving the zombie apocalypse through the power of dance. Recently, we have made appearances at Boston Circus Guild’s CIRQUE OF THE DEAD, Boston's Sci-Fi/Fantasy convention, Arisia, and at the MAGFest Jamspace stage at PAX East.

Sarah Donner

Sarah Donner is an alt pop singer/songwriter who has embraced her inner cat lady. Her songs teeter back and forth between playful, nerd core, and ballads, all tied together with bright melodies and driving, energetic instrumentals. Sarah Donner’s music has been featured on Conan O'Brien's blog, NPR, Buzzfeed, i09, Showtime, and CBS. "Sarah Donner and the Sleepy Kitten" and "The Motherf**cking Pterodactyl Song" (co-written with The Oatmeal) catapulted Sarah into weblebrity status with over four million views on YouTube alone.

Sarah Donner is a graduate of Westminster Choir College. After stretching her legs with musical theatre, she picked up a guitar, abandoned her classical roots, and started rocking out (with fantastic breath support). When she is not touring, Sarah Donner fosters kittens, teaches privately, and paints portraits.
